Who we are
Pop & Pour is a bar service and event production business in Northern California, run by Eric Bernal and Rachel Knoester. In this policy, “we” means Pop & Pour. You can reach us at [email protected] or 209-628-9362.
What we collect
- Quote requests. When you use our quote form, we collect the details you type in: your name, email, phone (optional), type of event, event date, guest count, event location, the services you are interested in, and your message.
- Event RSVPs. When you RSVP to one of our events, we collect your name, email, the date you chose and the size of your party.
- Contact details. Names, emails and phone numbers from quote requests and RSVPs are saved as contacts in our private owner portal so we can follow up with you and run our events.
- Your IP address. Our server briefly uses your IP address to limit how many forms one device can send per hour (to block spam and abuse). We do not use it to track you or build a profile.
- Email you send us. If you email or call us directly, we keep whatever you tell us so we can help you.
Cookies and storage on your device
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and visitors do not receive cookies from us. If a quote request cannot reach our server (for example, you lose your connection), your browser keeps a copy in its local storage for up to 24 hours so it can be re-sent, then it is removed. Only our owners, who sign in to the owner portal, use a sign-in cookie.
Third parties
- Fonts. Our fonts are served from this site, so loading a page does not send your IP address to Google or any other font provider.
- Email notifications. When enabled, we use an email delivery service (Resend) to send our owners a notice when a quote request or RSVP comes in. That notice contains the details you submitted.
- Hosting. The site and its data are stored with our hosting provider, which processes them on our behalf.
- Social links. Links to Instagram or other sites take you to services with their own policies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Why we use it
To reply to your request, plan and run events, keep track of RSVPs and bookings, keep the site secure, and (with your request) follow up about your event.
Who can see it
Our owners, Eric and Rachel, and the service providers described above. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to run the business. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and we are glad to honor them for anyone. Email [email protected] and tell us the name and email you used. We may need to confirm it is you before we act. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children
Our site is meant for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
